A special culinary collaboration arrives at The Feathered Nest
This April, The Feathered Nest welcomes an exciting new chapter in its culinary calendar with the launch of its first chef collaboration of the year. Bringing together two exceptional talents for one unforgettable evening, guests are invited to experience a truly special dining event on Tuesday 14 April at 7pm.
Joining Head Chef James in the kitchen is renowned Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens, whose celebrated restaurant Muse in London has earned widespread acclaim for its refined, creative approach to modern dining.
Craftsmanship and creativity
For one night only, the two chefs will come together to create a collaborative menu that reflects their shared passion for craftsmanship, creativity and outstanding ingredients. The result promises to be a thoughtfully curated dining experience, where two distinct styles are brought together in perfect harmony.
Guests can expect a menu that showcases the very best of both chefs, blending innovation with precision, and offering a rare opportunity to experience their work side by side in an intimate and beautifully considered setting.

A fantastic menu
The experience begins with bread and snacks including roosterkoek with chicken and cèpe butter, alongside celeriac chawanmushi with pine and Oscietra caviar, and chicken liver parfait with a hazelnut hobnob. Dishes then unfold through a journey of seasonal ingredients, from ricotta with blood orange and bitter leaves, to a Cornish crab muffin with Cape Malay butter, fermented fennel and sea herbs. White asparagus with morel and horseradish celebrates the best of the season, followed by monkfish with elderflower and lemon, before Welsh hogget is served as roast loin, crisp belly and glazed faggot with wild garlic, artichokes and sunflower seeds. The menu concludes with a Westcote honey tart, paired with chamomile and crème fraîche.
